Cutting Edge Bullets manufacture premium solid projectiles that will perform as well in the field as they shoot on the range. Each bullet is precisely machined on CNC Swiss Style Automatic Lathes with the ogive radius, ogive length, boat tail angle and boat tail length held to the tightest tolerance achievable by any manufacturing method helping to achieve unmatched consistency and accuracy downrange. Each bullet has gone through extensive testing and passed extensive quality control measures to ensure that it will perform as designed each and every time the trigger is pulled. Every bullet made is checked with an optical comparator to help ensure strict tolerances are being met. When a run of bullets is made CEB checks every five to ten bullets for proper weight and size they also make any adjustments necessary to ensure each bullet is running true to the center of the tolerance. Every 50th to 100th bullet has a 100% complete inspection checking every aspect of the bullet even the smallest details like chamfers and radii. Critical bullet aspects such as body diameters are maintained at +/- .0001″ ensuring these are the most consistent bullets on the market.
The ESP (Enhanced System Projectile) Raptor line from Cutting Edge Bullets is a bullet system that incorporates a double ended BBW#13 nose profile on each end of the bullet. This bullet can be loaded as a solid, hollow point or tipped bullet. When the solid end is loaded the hunter gets a bullet that can be used on animals where the deepest penetration is required, when the hollow point end is used the hunter gets a bullet that will provide unequaled terminal performance. By inserting the talon tip the hunter gets a bullet that has an increased ballistic coefficient of 2 to 3 times the BC of the bullet without the tip installed providing exceptional long range performance. These bullets are also extremely easy to develop a load for. All the reloader has to do is pick a speed they want to drive the bullet at, pick a suitable powder to deliver that speed, load with the band sticking out of the case and shoot a group at 100 yards, the group should be close to an inch. This is not loaded ammunition.?WARNING: This product can expose you to Lead, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
